My academic qualifications include a PhD in Mathematics’ Teaching by University of Madeira (2017). I am currently Professor at the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering at the University of Madeira and an integrated researcher at the Centro de Investigação em Educação at the same university, developing research in the field of pedagogical innovation. I was part of the in-service teachers’ training programs ‘CEM – Building Success in Mathematics’ and ‘iTEC – Learning Scenarios with Innovative Technologies’. I participated in national and international research projects. My research is guided by the understanding of students’ and teachers’ learning in environments enriched with technology.
