My academic qualifications include a master’s degree and a degree in Mathematics Teaching in 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education from the University of Madeira (2012, 1996). I am currently attending a PhD in Curriculum and Pedagogical Innovation also at the University of Madeira. I was part of the in-service teachers’ training program ‘CEM – Building Success in Mathematics’.  Since 2015 I have been part of the in-service teacher training project ‘iTEC – Learning Scenarios with Innovative Technologies’. My research is guided by understanding learning in innovative learning environments.
