Soledad, with a BSC in Environmental Science from Universitat de València (Spain), is a research technician at MARE-Madeira/Regional Agency for the Development of Research Technology and Innovation (ARDITI), Soledad’s research and technical expertise spans many areas. Her primary interests are in understanding the threat of marine litter in ecosystems, marine biological invasions and how ocean literacy can lead to a better marine environment. Soledad is also trained in scientific illustration.
