Patricio Ramalhosa
Patrício, with a BSc in Marine and Freshwater Biology from Queen Mary University, is a Research Technician for MARE-Madeira, formerly working at Canning-Clode Marine Lab and OOM-Oceanic Observatory of Madeira. His research focuses on marine fouling communities, non-indigenous species’ impact on biological invasions, and marine ecology. Patrício oversees MARE-Madeira Lab and MOSS-Marine Organisms Stress Simulator. He currently uses Bluerobotics ROV for ocean floor exploration, identifying new species, and assessing marine litter.
