Humberto Nóbrega (m), Degree in Biology (Scientific Branch) in 2006 from the University of Madeira, Portugal. His research interests are Population genetics, Biodiversity Conservation, Agrobiodiversity, Ecology and Bioinformatics. He is a researcher at the ISOPlexis Genebank at the University of Madeira since 2007. He has developed work on the Morphological Characterization of local varieties of cereals, legumes and fruit. Since 2010 he has been acting as Curator of the ISOPlexis Germplasm collection.
