For my doctorate degree, I studied veterinary medicine, focusing on antibiotic resistance in bacteria. I now work as the Science Manager at MARE-Madeira where I lead partnerships, fundraising and communications. I’m always trying to find new ways to share science with the community! I love running the trails of Madeira, cycling and painting. I’m also working hard to learn Portuguese(!) and hope that sometime in the next 50 years I’ll accomplish it
