Associated Professor at the University of Madeira. His main research interests are in the field of tourism economics and regional development. With a two dozen of papers and chapters published in peer-reviewed journals, he was worked in consultancy projects in the field of tourism. His teaching duties are in microeconomics, regional science, and tourism.
