Sónia Patrícia Gouveia Ferraz Alves

Sónia Ferraz Alves is a master student in Applied Biochemistry. Works as a research fellow at ISOPlexis – Center for Sustainable Agriculture and Food Technology from University of Madeira since 2010. Participated in research projects, namely Food Trails, CASBio, AHIDAGRO and MacBioBlue, working in the evaluation and bioprospecting of seaweeds, developing studies aimed to industrial application and study of abiotic stresses and the impact of climatic changes on some local crop’s varieties.
